Bus Trip to Annapolis, Maryland

BUS TRIP DETAILS & POLICY FOR THE SOMERS POINT HISTORICAL SOCIETY
DEPARTURE
Departure will be from the Somers Point City Hall at 1 W. New Jersey Avenue, Somers Point, at 7 AM. Please park in the rear parking lot, along the bike path and any side street. The bus will leave promptly.
INCLUSIONS
The price of your trip includes bus transportation, tour of the United States Naval Academy, bus driver tip, and snacks on board. All other expenses are at the discretion of the passenger. There will be a rest stop on the way to Annapolis. A return rest stop is to be determined upon departure. There is a bathroom onboard.
PAYMENT INFORMATION
Full payment of $65* per person is requested at the time of booking. This will also determine your seat location on the bus as seating will be assigned at the time of booking. If you have friends who plan to go with you, please submit the names in the NOTES section of the registration form.
* Special Offer for Paid Members of the Somers Point Historical Society. Current Members will be given a $5.00 cash reimbursement the morning of the trip. (Family membership with more than one attending will be given a maximum of $10).
Non-members may want to consider becoming a member at this time if you plan to go on this and any of the two remaining trips in September and December. Look for the membership information HERE.
WAYS TO PAY
1) By Check and Mail To: SPHS, 625 W. Connecticut Avenue, Somers Point, NJ 08244. Please have your check in the mail at least a week in advance so it can be deposited. Remember to download and print the trip registration form HERE, complete, and mail with your payment. Checks are made out to: Somers Point Historical Society.
2) Online via Credit Card/PayPal - Please first submit an online Registration Form HERE - Then return to this page and PAY HERE
CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellation by April 4 will be refunded in full. Cancellation by April 21 will be refunded up to 50%. Any cancellation after 14 days prior to the trip will only be refunded if your seat is sold. If you cannot go on the trip at the last minute, please call or text to 609-457-3034 so we are not waiting for you to arrive.
SMOKING POLICY
There is no smoking on the bus at any time. Rest stops will be made to accommodate smoking.
LUNCH & FREE TIME
Please be prepared to pay for your own lunch at one of the many fine restaurants in Annapolis. In the afternoon you will also have time to take a boat cruise or trolley tour, visit the State Capitol building, walk the quaint streets and visit historic homes. See suggestions HERE. A map of Annapolis and suggested activities will be given to you on the bus.
