BUS TRIP DETAILS & POLICY FOR THE SOMERS POINT HISTORICAL SOCIETY
DEPARTURE Departure will be from the Somers Point City Hall at 1 W. New Jersey Avenue, Somers Point, at 9 AM. Please park in the rear parking lot, along the bike path and any side street. The van will leave promptly.
INCLUSIONS The price of your trip includes van transportation, tour of Naval Air Station Wildwood Aviation Museum, Fire Control Tower 23, a stop at Sunset Beach in Cape May and possibly the lighthouse at Cape May Point. All other expenses are at the discretion of the passenger including lunch at the Flight Deck Diner. Since we are using a van, there will be no bathroom stops and refreshments are not necessary. The Aviation Museum is handicap accessible. The Fire Control Tower is handicap accessible for reading the interpretive panels and traveling along the boardwalk. The tower steps are not accessible.
Full payment of $38 is requested at the time of booking.
Current Members will be given a $3.00 cash reimbursement the morning of the trip. (Family membership with more than one attending will be given a maximum of $6). You may benefit by becoming a member. Please look for the membership application online and complete first.

Payment can also be made by check and mailed to: SPHS, 625 W. Connecticut Avenue, Somers Point, NJ 08244. Please have your check in the mail at least a week in advance so it can be deposited. Remember to download the registration form - HERE - then complete, and submit with your payment. Checks are made out to: Somers Point Historical Society.
CANCELLATION POLICY Cancellation by September 14 will be refunded in full. Cancellation by September 21 will be refunded up to 50%. Any cancellation after 7 days prior to the trip will only be refunded if your seat is sold. If you are not going on the trip at the last minute, please call or text to 609-457-3034 so we are not waiting for you to arrive.
This is a local trip to places that many have never been. We plan to be a bit flexible based on the interests of those who are going. We have endeavored to keep the costs as low as possible. Whether we have eight people or a few more, we will make this work. If there are fewer, cars will be used and we will not rent a van. We ask that you please be flexible.
